Write as you would on paper
Other apps make you enter equations on a single line like something from the 1970s. Our Natural Input solves this problem by allowing you to enter equations as you'd write them on paper, using fractions, roots, exponents and more. It's called a "natural display" and is a common feature on scientific calculators like the Casio fx-82 or TI-30XB.

After many years of inactivity and being busy with life, we're back and fully focused on a complete rewrite and revamp of Natural Scientific Calculator!
Stay tuned for NSC2 (to be released in by April 2023) which will release as web and desktop apps (Windows, Mac, Linux), in addition to the current iOS and Android apps. NSC2 will feature a revamped user interface and a more comprehensive set of maths functionality. In the mean time, we've also updated NSC to 1.2.0 on iOS, which comes with many fixes and improvements.
